“Sounds like you’ve got a case of the Mondays” is a line that can be comical or a real slap in the face. But what can you do to change all that and make Monday your best day of the week?
As a golfer, the answer is usually, play golf! But you look at the tee sheets around you, and they are all full. Well, now all you have to do is look at Tanglewood and their new Monday offering!
What is the Tanglewood Two-Fer?
The best deal in Western Wisconsin golf.
For most golfers, we have come to the realization that golf is becoming more expensive. And while that may be true for many courses, Tanglewood is aiming to reverse that trend. Starting on July 6th, they are offering a deal that you cannot pass up. I was invited to be part of a test group for this deal, and let me give you the lowdown!
For $92 ($46 a golfer) you get the following for each:
18 Holes of golf with cart
Lunch or Dinner item
Beverage (Soda, Gatorade, Tap or Can of beer, cocktail)
Golf, Cart, food, and fun all for $46 a person; show me a better deal within an hour of the cities!
How it works!
Once you have made your reservation, it’s as simple as showing up!
When you check in at the clubhouse for your Two-Fer, they will see you signed up for the deal, and you can always remind them! Once you have paid, you will get your cart assignment and a special card. This card can be turned in to the Wood and Vine restaurant for your beverage and meal. Use it before or after your round, whatever you feel like, as long as it’s used the same day! Once you are set, head out to your cart and enjoy your round of golf. If you need to warm up, a little extra can go a long way at the Toptracer Range.

Golf and Grub!
Looking at this deal, the value should already jump out. Not many courses, anywhere, offer 18 holes for $46. But now we have a deal that not only gives you the golf, but the grub for that price!
You want the Steak bowl? Done. Prefer something lighter and want the Salmon? It’s included! This also covers their specials like 3 of the Tacos or Sliders. The menu at the Wood and Vine, Tanglewoods restaurant, is varied and will not leave you hungry. Now of course, this is Wisconsin, so you know that they have some good beverages ready for you as well. If you work up a thirst, I guarantee that Tanglewood has a Spotted Cow or an Old Fashioned ready for you at the turn or after your round! Spotted not your style? That’s okay because the Two-Fer includes non-alcoholic or alcoholic beverage in the price.
Extra Innings!
So if I have not convinced you by now, here is the icing on the cake part of the deal. If you are an avid golfer like myself, extra golf is always on your mind. With the Two-Fer deal, you and a partner can add on an extra 18 holes for only $10 each. So you can have 36 holes of golf, a drink, and a meal for only $56 per golfer. For the price of one round of golf elsewhere, you can play twice and have a great meal and a complete day of golf.
I cannot think of a course that has something like this, in this day and age, and that is kept in great condition and warm and welcoming. Once again, Tanglewood shows that customer satisfaction is key, and they are willing to go the extra mile to make your Monday, less Monday-ish!
